ALEC C.Y. NG
Alec Ng's distinguished portfolio has been significantly influenced by his comprehensive international professional and personal experiences. His multifaceted background encompasses corporate headquarters, healthcare facilities, research and development centers, exhibition and convention spaces, and mixed-use building complexes. As a design leader on prominent projects such as Chinatrust Bank Headquarters, Samsung R5, and KIA Motor Design Center, Alec masterfully integrates precision and discipline in detail-oriented tasks with creativity, distinguishing his work from others in the field.
With over 20 years of experience as a design leader, Alec possesses a remarkable ability to swiftly articulate and expound upon design concepts, benefiting clients from the initial ideation stage through to detailing and execution. He contributes exceptional talent and expertise to intricate projects and has been consistently entrusted with high-profile assignments both in the United States and internationally.
Alec obtained his Master of Architecture degree from the University of Michigan, graduating with distinction. He completed his undergraduate studies at Ryerson University in Toronto, Ontario, where he earned a Bachelor of Architectural Science degree.
His graduate design work has been published in Princeton Press's "30 60 90," featured at the Michigan AIA Chapter Retreat, showcased in XFUNs Magazine, and displayed at The Storefront Exhibition in New York. Alec has taught graduate-level architectural studios at the University of Southern California and served as a guest critic at Ohio State University. In 2013, he became a member of the University of Michigan's mentorship program.
